  Took my daughter in for lunch today, great menu and excellent food, really nice to find a pub that actually makes an effort with the kids food, most places serve the kids a token effort but not here, great quality and reasonably priced given that! Also very good service given how busy it was.

  This one of the best hotels you can take your wife to for a long restful weekend. It's got great character, great food and drink and brilliant service.
  
  You even get a nice little tin of cookies waiting for you on the bed once you e checked in.
  
  I go back here on a regular basis but you need to book early to avoid disappointment as it's so popular.
  
  Highly recommend the White Buck.

  We love this resturant and bar in the new forest. Cosy yet loads of room. Food is expensive but very good...buzzing with visitors but roomy. Staff polite and helpful.

  Food excellent. Sorry they had run out if the skate but cod very good. Much better than my Christmas visit.
